despite the Galaxy S24 Ultra Having one of the best camera sets on the market, it still needs some improvements. In the April security package, the Samsung implemented a series of improvements, but fixes are missing. Another update was scheduled to be available soon, but it seems that the South Korean giant decided to postpone it.
New camera improvements in June only
According to information from the leaker Ice Universe, known for accurate leaks, the Samsung should postpone the next update with camera improvements of the Galaxy S24 Ultra “at least until June”.

We don’t know the reason for the delay, but it’s possible that the company wants to focus on rolling out One UI 6.1 to all eligible devices. In May, for example, the new interface should reach the main smartphones launched in 2021 and 2022.
What will be fixed?
A Samsung has not revealed what fixes are planned for the next update. Full details should only be made available when the update begins to be implemented.
The previous update, released on April 1, fixed issues related to white balance, exposure, text clarity in enlarged photos, and more. Below you can see the complete list:
- Improved white balance accuracy and exposure;
- Better image quality in low light;
- Improved color accuracy in the “ExpertRAW” application;
- Improved text clarity in zoomed photos;
- Support for videos with a resolution of 480 x 480 pixels in the “Instant Slow Mo” feature.
