Sammobile, an overseas media outlet, reported on the 12th (local time), citing Tipster Ice Universe, that Samsung Electronics’ flagship smartphone ‘Galaxy S23’ camera improvement update is being delayed.
Initially, the Galaxy S23 camera improvements were expected to be provided with the June security patch, but were not included in the update. Ice Universe claimed, “We have received news that the camera improvement update for the Galaxy S23 series may continue to be delayed,” and “there are still unresolved issues.”
The timing of the release of the camera update was not mentioned, but it is possible that it will be included in the update in late June or July at the earliest. If it is delayed further, the media predicted that the camera bug could be fixed through the One UI 6.0 update.
Meanwhile, the camera improvement update will improve low-light camera performance and fix HDR-related issues, and will also support a new 2x zoom option for portraits.
