Samsung has introduced news for the Galaxy S21 line that will excite photography lovers. It brought astrophotography support to the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 Plus, and Galaxy S21 Ultra via the Expert Raw app.

With the feature, users will be able to take impressive pictures of the night sky, stars and constellations, in addition to being able to see their locations through the application itself.

The astrophotography mode should have arrived on models of the Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S20 lines with the One UI 5.1 update, but for unknown reasons, this did not happen. Fortunately, the latest Expert Raw update brings the mode to users who have updated their devices to the April 2023 security patch.

In addition to the Galaxy S21 line, other Samsung flagships will also receive astrophotography soon, such as the Galaxy S20 line and folding models.

To use astrophotography mode, make sure you have installed the April 2023 security patch in settings and update the Expert Raw app from the Galaxy Store. However, it is worth noting that the quality of the photos will depend on the clarity of the sky in the user’s region, something that will be difficult for users who live in larger cities.

In addition to the news in the Galaxy S21 line, its new generation of foldables has received several rumors. Apparently, Samsung plans to release the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 earlier than expected. According to leaks, Galaxy Unpacked 2023 Part 2 should take place in July.
