So that your device is protected once morest the security gaps, you should install the offered updates promptly. The installation is usually done over-the-air, i.e. without the smartphone having to be connected to a computer. A corresponding note informs users regarding the availability of security updates. Alternatively, it is possible in the system settings to manually check whether updates are available.
