O Galaxy M34 from Samsung was announced today (7) in two versions: one with 128GB/6GB RAM and another with 128GB/8GB RAM. Initially, the cell phone will be launched in the Indian market, where the 6GB RAM model will cost around US$ 205 and the 8GB RAM model will cost US$ 230. What are the evolutions brought by the Galaxy M34?

The new Galaxy M34 represents an evolution in several points compared to the M33, launched in 2022. The first of them is support for 4 operating system updates and 5 years of security updates. Then we highlight its cameras, where the main lens has a 50 MP sensor with OIS, the ultrawide an 8MP sensor ( once morest 5MP of the M33) and the selfie lens a 13MP sensor ( once morest 8MP of the M33).
Another change was the use of an OLED screen on the M34 instead of the LCD on the M33. Now we have a 6.5″ “super AMOLED” display with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,400 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. However, unfortunately Samsung still chose to keep the Exynos processor and in the M34 we have the Exynos 1280.

Battery-wise, there’s a 6,000mAh Li-ion cell and 25W charging. In addition, the smartphone has IP67 certification, which attests to its resistance once morest water and dust.
Release and availability
Samsung Galaxy M34 will be launched in India on 15th July 2023 in Midnight Blue, Prism Silver and Waterfall Blue colors. The 128GB/6GB RAM model will cost US$ 205 while the 128GB/8GB RAM model will cost US$ 230. There is still no forecast and prices for the smartphone in Brazil.
