With a valid ticket, Melissa fans can use the ÖBB lines and regional shuttle buses to Tröpolach free of charge. “The intended staging of the start of the season at Nassfeld as a green event is a further implementation step within the framework of the climate and energy model region of tourism on the way to becoming the most sustainable tourism region in Austria,” says KEM Manager Risslegger. This eco-label certification ensures that public access to the event is possible. Concert-goers from all over Carinthia are entitled to use the ticket for free use of the ÖBB lines to Hermagor and the regional shuttle buses to Tröpolach on this day. Best connection from Villach: 4:18 p.m. or 5:18 p.m. Return shuttle bus at 10:18 p.m. (after the end of the concert from Tröpolach to Hermagor), continue with ÖBB at 10:44 p.m. from Hermagor. In addition to public arrivals, the certification according to the eco-label requires that other criteria are met: For example, in addition to regional delicacies, attention is also paid to avoiding waste. Reusable cups were purchased for this purpose, which will be used for the first time at the start of the season – and will be used at many other green events in the region in the future.

Am 10. Dezember 2022 läutet Melissa Naschenweng beim Nassfeld Mountain Winterkonzert die Wintersaison 2022/23 ein. Mit gültiger Eintrittskarte benützen Melissa-Fans die Linien der ÖBB sowie regionale Shuttlebusse nach Tröpolach kostenlos. „Die angestrebte Austragung des Saisonauftaktes am Nassfeld als Green Event ist ein weiterer Umsetzungsschritt im Rahmen der Klima- und Energiemodellregion Tourismus am Weg zur nachhaltigsten Tourismusregion Österreichs“, so KEM Managerin Risslegger. Mit dieser Umweltzeichen-Zertifizierung wird darauf geachtet, dass eine öffentliche Anreise zum Event ermöglicht wird. Konzertbesuchende aus ganz Kärnten berechtigt die Eintrittskarte zur kostenlosen Nutzung der ÖBB-Linien bis Hermagor sowie der regionalen Shuttlebusse nach Tröpolach an diesem Tag. Beste Verbindung ab Villach: 16:18 bzw. 17:18 Uhr. Rückfahrt Shuttlebus um 22:18 Uhr (nach Konzertende ab Tröpolach bis Hermagor), weiter mit ÖBB um 22:44 Uhr ab Hermagor. Neben öffentlicher Anreise fordert die Zertifizierung nach dem Umweltzeichen, dass auch weitere Kriterien eingehalten werden: So wird etwa neben regionalen Köstlichkeiten auch auf die Vermeidung von Müll geachtet. Angeschafft wurden dazu eigene Mehrwegbecher, die beim Saisonauftakt das 1. Mal verwendet werden – und zukünftig bei vielen weiteren Green Events in der Region zum Einsatz kommen sollen.
