Gaëlle Pietri looks back on her relationship with the late comedian Gaspard Ulliel in her new book “Le temps de te dire adieu”, a way for the model to say goodbye to the man who shared her life for several years. The actor tragically left us on January 19, 2022 following a skii accident and Gaëlle evokes his mourning in the pages of his book.
The 37-year-old star told ELLE magazine: “I started writing just after Gaspard’s death, notes taken in amazement and anger, which, a few months later, I wanted to turn into a letter to Gaspard and our son, Orso.”
She added to the JDD: “Overnight, I became Orso’s only legal guardian. But since I was the ‘ex’, I had lost a kind of legitimacy, I didn’t know where to go. place in relation to others, to the family.”
The lovebirds had spent six years together before breaking up in 2020.
“By immersing himself in this book when he is older, he will find his father there, the words will allow him to fix an image, he who lost him too soon”, declared Gaëlle.
“Pure People” reveals in particular that the star mentioned their meeting at the Champs-Élysées theater in his book. Gaëlle was then with a friend to see a play in which Gaspard was playing and the two stars fell in love with each other.
“My hands are shaking, I’m hot. I expect a laugh from you, a smile would be enough for me, you remain impassive” writes the young woman on their first exchanges. “Thinking about it, I realize how stupid it is since we hadn’t even exchanged our numbers.”
Fate, however, surprised Gaëlle who continues: “Arrived in front of my house, I slam the door of the car and raising my head, I hear your voice. You are there, sitting on your motorcycle. You followed me”.
Gaspard Ulliel would then have claimed to have lost his keys. The model then hosted him at her home and the actor revealed a few days later “I had never lost them”.
