“G3 Universities of La Francophonie and Cheikh Anta Diop University Partner to Promote Academic and Cultural Research”

The Cheikh Anta Diop University of Dakar (Ucad) hosted this Monday, May 22 the signature of partnership of the G3 universities of La Francophonie (Ucad, ULB, University of Geneva and University of Montreal) in the presence of HRH Princess Astrid of Belgium and Foreign Minister Hadja Lahbib.

On the occasion of the Prince’s mission to Senegal, the G3 universities of La Francophonie (ULB, University of Geneva and University of Montreal) signed a partnership with Cheikh Anta Diop University in Dakar in the presence of Princess Astrid and Foreign Minister Hadja Lahbib.

The four institutions are convinced that this collaboration will promote the development of academic and cultural research and activities, reports ULB.

The four institutions undertake to cooperate in areas of mutual interest, through exchanges of teachers, researchers and students, co-direction or joint supervision of doctoral theses, co-financing and the implementation of joint projects. teaching and research, the organization of scientific and cultural events as well as the exchange of information and academic publications.

According to the same source, this partnership will create a space in which professors, researchers and students from the four universities will be able to circulate easily and in which joint graduate programs will be offered.
The Cheikh Anta Diop University thus becomes the first African partner of the G3.
