Dell renews line of G15 notebooks in Brazil with 13th generation Intel Core and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 Series
Dell Technologies announces in Brazil the launch of the new G15 Gamer notebooks, which arrives to renew the G-Series line and raise the level of the brand’s offer for gamers in the country. Locally manufactured in Hortolândia (SP), the equipment brings advances in terms of performance – the result of the combination of new configurations with the 13th generation of Intel Core processors, ranging up to i7, and video cards with options up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050.
With local production, the model of the G15 notebook line arrives with reinforcement in the maximum TDP (up to 195W), additional slot for storage and new cooling system with vapor chamber and the use of Element 31 (Gallium) as dissipation material
The new G15 also feature an increase in maximum TDP, which now reaches 195W in the model with the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 graphics card. In addition, in this same configuration, the equipment features a new cooling system, which has a vapor chamber and, as with the Alienware models available in Brazil, the use of Element 31 (Gallium), replacing traditional thermal pastes.
Changing the cooling system from this configuration allows for a 10% increase in airflow and up to a 28% improvement in heat dissipation. With these innovations, the new notebook is ready to push the limits of performance in the category and run NVIDIA RTX 40 Series graphics technologies such as DLSS3 and the Frame Generation feature, which provide a significant increase in the number of frames per second. (FPS) and image quality.
The New G15
“We created the new G15 to go further. Our goal was to deliver equipment that elevates the gamer’s experience, delivering more power and performance, through a new project that includes exclusive technologies, previously available only in the Alienware line”, said Leandro Venditti, Gaming Product Manager at Dell Technologies. “The gamer who opts for the RTX 3050 configuration will also see a performance leap over the previous generation, which, in this case, is the result of a greater allocation of available RAM memory”, he explains.
The configurations of the new G15 notebooks in Brazil include options with the 13th generation Intel Core i5-13450HX and i7-13650HX processors. Regarding the video card, in addition to the model with the RTX 4050 (6GB GDDR6), Dell also offers an improved version compared to the previous model, now with the RTX 3050. This improvement is the result of using a new version of the card 30 Series video memory, which is available with 6GB of GDDR6 memory (compared to the 2022 model’s 4GB), which allows you to run games with higher quality and performance, since more video memory directly reflects on processing speed of the games.
The 15.6″ screen maintains the Full HD resolution of the previous generation. On models with Intel Core i7 and RTX 4050, the panel has a refresh rate of 165Hz and a response time of up to 3ms (overdrive mode), in addition to 100% coverage of the sRGB color palette and compatibility with NVIDIA G-Sync.
In configurations with Intel i5 and RTX 3050, the refresh rate is 120Hz. In all models, Dell includes NVIDIA Advanced Optimus technology, which provides a performance boost when the notebook is used with its own display, automatically switching to the dedicated GPU when a game is detected.
To complete the high performance package, the new models have 8GB and 16GB RAM memory options (both DDR5 with 4800Mhz). In both cases, the equipment is shipped with two memory slots that can be changed by the customer later.
Storage is offered in configurations of 256GB, 512GB and 1TB on PCIe NVMe Gen4 x4 standard SSD on an M.2 stick. Unlike the previous generation, the new G15 include an additional slot for storage expansion in all its configurations.
