Prime Minister Alexander De Croo met on Thursday followingnoon with the CEO of Audi Brussels and representatives of the Audi group to discuss the future of the Forest site. This was reported by his office in the evening, following the company announced the reduction of its production and the elimination of all 371 temporary jobs from April 8.
Audi Brussels justified this decision by the limited demand for electric models. In the process, the socialist union FGTB-ABVV filed a strike notice.
