Future decides to qualify for the next round of the Confederation Cup at the expense of Paul Jinja of Uganda

The Future team qualified for the next round of the Confederation Cup following winning today at the expense of its Ugandan counterpart Paul Jinga, in the match that brought the team together today at Cairo International Stadium in the second leg of the first preliminary round of the African Confederation.

Joseph Jonathan scored the first goal for Future in the 77th minute of the match, with an elaborate shot from a direct free kick outside the penalty area.

The tenth minute witnessed a yellow card for Paul’s Ibrahim Kazangola following blocking an attempt to pass Ghannam Mohammed in the middle of the field, and then another yellow card in the 11th minute for Paul’s Ochora following blocking an attempt to pass Mohammed Reza Bobo in the middle of the field.

The 20th minute witnessed a red card in favor of Walter Ochora following another violent intervention on Mohamed Reza Boubou.

Saad Samir almost scored Future’s first goal in the 49th minute of the match following a cross from Joseph Nguyem turned Samir with a strong header, but it hit the crossbar with force and passed for a corner kick.

The 52nd minute saw a yellow card for Paul Jinga goalkeeper Saidi Keni for objecting to the match referee.

In the 57th minute, a cross ball from the left side was met by Ayman Sfaxi with a header from the border of the 6-yard area, but it passed over the crossbar.

The first match between the two teams, which was held in Uganda last week, ended in a goalless draw between the two teams, in a match that was the first Africa in the history of the Future team. Today, Future succeeded in resolving his rise to the next round.

Future had qualified for the Confederation Cup this season, following occupying fourth place in the league table, during the period in which the names of the clubs participating in the African championships were sent.

Future started the match with a formation consisting of: Mahmoud Hamdi – Omar Kamal Abdel Wahed – Saad Samir – Mahmoud Maree – Joseph Anguim – Karim Nedved – Mohamed Reda – Ghannam Mohamed – Ayman Sfaxi – Marwan Mohsen – Ahmed Atef
