But if you and your partner on another platform are hoping to beat each other’s brains out, you might have to wait a while. As confirmed by a new post on Twitter/X, Mortal Kombat 1 will not have cross-platform play at launch. The feature will be added later, though, so it’s more of a when than a if. Mortal Kombat 11 is in a similar situation, but it still worries some fans. That said, PC players hope they don’t fall behind again. In Mortal Kombat 11, cross-platform play is only available on consoles, meaning those with a mouse and keyboard are forced to play the game on ever-dwindling numbers. This is really bad practice and shows a lack of care for PC gamers. It seems like they might be left behind again, but hopefully there’s a chance for PC cross-play.
