An emblematic figure of jazz in Switzerland, violinist Baiju Bhatt released his new album last spring People of Tomorrow with his quintet Red Sun. Integrating with finesse elements of Indian music, land of its ancestors, Veveysan weaves its own musical path. This Saturday, he will take the audience of the Puplinge Classique into his bewitching universe, a fusion of East and West, tradition and modernity, passion and freedom. The opportunity to probe the many roots of the thirties and the place of the violin in jazz.
