At 7 a.m., firefighters indicated that they had carried out around twenty interventions linked to bad weather, in quite disparate sectors: Condrieu, Villefranche, Est Lyonnais, Lyon.
They mainly came because of rising water levels in garages, flooded or leaky roofs and a few trees that had fallen onto the road.
Two apartments evacuated in Lyon
The most significant intervention took place on Cours Gambetta, in the 7th arrondissement of Lyon. A 5-story building, on which work was taking place, took on water through the roof. Several apartments were flooded and two apartments had to be evacuated on the 3rd and 4th floors. The damage is at the ceiling and floor level.
A Tassina large branch of a century-old cedar was torn off in the park of the Le Tulipier residence, following the violent winds of the night. Luckily, no people or vehicles were underneath.
A Brignaisthe town hall issued a warning to be careful on its Facebook page: the Merdanson (small river in the Sacuny ZA) is overflowing.

50 mm of water fell overnight
