Furniture fair creates more than 100 jobs and expects to raise around 1 billion Kwanzas – news

The fourth edition of the China City Furniture Fair, on Avenida Fidel de Castro, in Luanda, created more than 100 jobs, especially for young nationals aged between 18 and 35.

The fair, which runs until January 5, 2024, expects to raise an amount in the order of 1 billion kwanzas with the sale of various furniture products and appliances for homes and offices, from televisions, refrigerators, beds, sofas, tables , chairs, desks, shelves and other utensils, according to the secretary of the China City board of directors, Alexi Li.

According to the person responsible, most of the materials on display are of national manufacture and with international finishes that give greater quality, safety and shine to the pieces with the lowest prices on the market and even 15 percent discounts.

Mix of nationalities

According to Alexi Li, in addition to Chinese exhibitors, the Fair also features businesspeople from other nationalities such as Indians, Nigerians and Vietnamese.

Li also said that the Fair is open to the public every day, and from Monday to Saturday, interested parties can visit from 8 am to 9 pm, while on Sundays and holidays it is open from 8 am to 6 pm.

Fantastic prizes

While the Fair is ongoing, customers who make purchases over 5 million kwanzas are eligible to win financial prizes valued at a total of up to 15 million kwanzas.
