George Miller once once more leaves people speechless in the most anticipated project of the decade

We finally see Anya Taylor-Joy in ‘Furiosa’, in the role previously played by Charlize Theron in ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ in the next prequel directed by George Miller that today presents its magnificent trailer. The new film will delve into the early years of this iconic character from the 2015 classic, although despite having completed production a long time ago, Warner Bros. has strategically scheduled its release for May 24, 2024.
Taylor-Joy isn’t the only notable star associated with the project; Chris Hemsworth is also part of the cast. The actor from the Thor movies will take on the role of one of two powerful warlords in the apocalyptic prequel. The official synopsis reads like this:
“As the world collapses, young Furiosa is kidnapped from the Green Place of Many Mothers and falls into the hands of a Biker Horde led by Warlord Dementus. Traveling through the wasteland she arrives at the Citadel, presided over by Immortan Joe. While the two tyrants fight for dominance of the area, Furiosa must survive many trials seeking to return home.
The prequel will present a different narrative, offering an explanation of how Joe gained enough influence to rally warriors once morest Furiosa and Max (Tom Hardy) in Fury Road, although more details regarding Furiosa’s story will also be revealed. It remains uncertain whether the premiere will occur at the Cannes Film Festival, as originally planned, or elsewhere. Miller has commented regarding her:
“It’s been going on for many years. It will be familiar to those people who know Mad Max, and in particular Fury Road, but it will also be unique. We have vehicles built, stunts prepared and we were well into that process.”
Author Kyle Buchanan and production managerDan Hood commented on the project in the book ‘Blood, Sweat & Chrome:’
“Furiosa is more of a traditional three-act drama. If people are expecting to see another chase movie, it’s not going to be that (Buchanan). When I started reading the script I mightn’t put it down. It’s going to be very, very good. You have the chance to see Gas Town. You get to see the bullet farm. It’s exciting to be able to build those things (Hood).
