On the occasion of the comic-con of San Diego, Funko Pop announced an adaptation of its universe in video game.
Famous Funko Pop figures will soon come to life in a triple-A video game – a term that refers to big budget productions similar to GTA, Assassin’s Creed or Call of Duty.
The publisher has chosen to partner with the 10:10 Games studio on this project, a new development studio that has been working on the project for several months already. According to the company, the title would be planned for PC and new-gen consoles only.
The Funko Pop game in development is not the first adaptation of the Funko universe in video games. Several titles had already appeared. However, these were small titles, which for the most part were born exclusively on mobiles.
10:10 Games also already gives some details on the project, evoking an action game and platforms.
No release date yet. However, we know that the title should see the light of day in 2023.
