We were thrilled to learn about the funding initiative because it provides great opportunities for local athletes and organizations.
**Interviewer:** Absolutely! I understand that the region has allocated 1 million euros to support 80 sporting events. Can you break down how this funding will impact local sports?
**Guest:** This funding is crucial for many amateur sports bodies and voluntary organizations. It’s a non-refundable subsidy covering 50% of eligible costs, which allows us to host a diverse range of sporting events—from community fitness classes to regional competitions.
