Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said a full lockdown would be imposed on Saturday and Sunday after a spike in new cases and deaths in recent weeks.
He said that during the entire weekend, from 9 pm on Friday to 5 am on Monday, it will not be allowed to leave the house.
