In turn, Dr. Bashoy Nabil, a specialist in orthopedic and joint surgery, revealed the truth regarding what was reported on the social media pages regarding the death of the student Ahmed Khaled, a victim of the death game challenge in transit, stressing that it is not true.

Bishoy told Masrawy, today, Thursday, that the injury led to a fracture of the vertebrae, saying: “This is not true, and the student is still alive and in stable condition,” adding that the student underwent surgery as a result of a fracture in the cervical vertebrae and severe pressure on the spinal cord.

The doctor confirmed that the student’s condition so far is stable, especially following the operation, saying: “The student is now recovering, and we wish him a speedy recovery.”

A new game on the “Tik Tok” application caused the 13-year-old student, Ahmed Khaled, at the Nile Children International School in Obour, to suffer a severe fracture of the vertebrae.

The challenges of the game include that students throw their colleague up and then suddenly leave him to fall to the ground, and the game aims to measure his endurance, as a result of which the student suffered fractures in the spinal cord and spine.
