One of the culprits of the worst tragedy in human history, the ‘Rwandan Genocide’, stood trial following 22 years of being wanted.
The perpetrator blatantly denies the allegations even though he has been on the run, faking his name and nationality, with a $5 million bounty on him.

Former Rwandan police officer Fulgens Kaishema appears before the Magistrates’ Court in Cape Town, South Africa.
After being indicted, he ran away for 22 years and brought a Bible and a book called “Jesus First” to the court where he was caught.

However, the charges once morest the ICTR and the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda following the expulsion of the Hutu-born Fulgens are the worst.
On the first day of the Rwandan genocide in 1994, a church was burned and bulldozed.
2,000 Tutsi refugees, including children inside the church, died on the spot and were even buried.
In this way, over 100 days, 10% of the total population, 800,000 Tutsis and some moderate Hutu were massacred.
The direct background was the ‘Tutsi behind the scenes’ of the Hutu-born presidential airliner crash death.
However, ethnic conflicts in which a small number of Tutsis dominated the majority of indigenous Hutu tribes from the past led to racial discrimination policies during the Belgian colonial rule following 1916, and eventually exploded into the ‘worst massacre’.
The number of suspects in the Rwanda genocide who have been indicted by the ICTR but have yet to be arrested has now been reduced to three, with Kaysema brought to court 29 years following the genocide.
