Fujicco raises prices from March next year for some products for the second time within a year | NHK Kansai news

Fujikko, a food manufacturer headquartered in Kobe, has decided to raise the prices of home-use products that use beans and kelp from March next year (2023).
Some will be raised once more within a year.

According to the company’s announcement, the prices of some household products will be raised from March 1st next year.
The range of price increases is regarding 9% to 10% for products using kelp, regarding 14% for products using beans, regarding 6% to 36% for side dishes, and regarding 4% for yogurt.
Also, from June 1st next year, we will raise the price of commercial products by regarding 4% to 15%.
This is mainly due to the rising cost of fuel and logistics, and the increase in procurement costs of raw materials due to the impact of the depreciation of the yen once morest the dollar in the foreign exchange market.
The company has raised the price of home-use products in June and commercial-use products in October, and some will raise the price for the second time within a year.
Fujicco said, “We streamlined and improved efficiency of production and logistics, cut costs, and revised prices in June. I will do my best, so I would like to ask for your understanding.”
