Leonel Fernández swore in several former leaders of the PRM in Guáyiga who joined the Fuerza del Pueblo.
LA GUAYIGA.- Leonel Fernández assured this Saturday followingnoon that in the country we are experiencing a deterioration in the quality of life. “There was talk of change, but what we are having is a change for ‘tra’,” said the president of the Fuerza del Pueblo.
As a sign of the setbacks that the current government represents, the leader of the Dominican political opposition referred to the complaint made by the newspaper Listín Diario regarding how the English by Immersion program, started when he directed the national destinations, on May 19 of 2005, “today it does not work and has fallen into total disrepute”.
Fernández referred to the deterioration of this training program, while President Luis Abinader says that he will introduce bilingual education into the national education system.
«How can a bilingual program be introduced, when the only thing that existed has been dropped. Because if this government stands out in something, it is in being inefficient in everything that exists, “he assured.
He explained that due to the inefficiency of the PRM, “we say in the face of change pa’ tra’, we come back pa’ lante with the People’s Force.”
In another aspect, Fernández criticized the fact that people live under house arrest in the municipal district of La Guáyiga and in a large part of the country, due to citizen insecurity.
“We are concerned that people live under house arrest as a result of the high crime levels that are registered in this community. A lot of corpses are turning up in this place,” he stated.
Referring to the Guáyiga municipal district, he assured that with the incorporation of important leaders such as Juan de Dios Morel, Jorge Luís Ayala, and their followers, victory is assured in the municipal elections.

Hundreds of people from the ruling Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM), the Dominican Liberation Party (PLD), independent businessmen, professionals and community leaders joined the People’s Force.
Among those sworn in is the former director of the Guáyiga municipal district, Juan de Dios Morel, and the former candidate for this position for the PLD, Deivi Medina. In addition, founding militants of the PRM.
Also businessmen Jacinto García (Cristian Pizza), Rafael Hernández (Leche Rica), Alex Linares, Jacqueline López, Eduardo Santana, Enger Alberto Reinoso and Héctor Rodríguez.
The construction professionals María Ventura, Arístides Vásquez, José Lara and Ceferino Pineda also swore militancy to the FP.
