Fuel supply in the state of Mérida is returning to normal

After overcoming some mobility problems that occurred during the week after the elections, the supply of fuel in the Merida entity has returned to normal, despite not having been made public, at least until this Saturday, August 3, the well-known schedule with the list of service stations with inventory, except for the announcement of delivery to motorcycles in the Alberto Adriani municipality.

Douglas Rivas, representative of the Governorate before the General Staff of Hydrocarbons, reported that if violent events occur that put users, facilities and workers at risk, the I/Os will close again immediately.

To avoid situations of violence, the Mérida government has placed security personnel at the I/O points.

Likewise, Rivas reported through the official press that the delays in the arrival of the tankers were due to obstacles on the road placed by protesters in the municipalities of the Pan-American Tulio Febres Cordero, Bishop Ramos de Lora, so he assured that it will depend on the people who keep the roads clear so that the tankers can circulate and bring the fuel on time.

With the resumption of service, public transport services have also been normalized in the different municipalities of the entity.
