This map has punctuated the daily life of the French for almost a week: the one delivered by Penurie.mon-essence.fr. This collaborative site lists service stations with a total or partial shortage of fuel. 2,058 stations are completely out of service once morest 2,331 in partial outage this Friday, according to the website.

The web news site Cnet recalls that the card is available as an application with Essence&CO available on iOS and Android.

Be careful however, the information is not 100% reliable since there may be a gap between the reality on the ground and the update of the tool, which relies on the goodwill of Internet users.

As we pointed out already last week, it is also possible to cross the sources with the government site, prix-carburants.gouv.fr. Less practical but official, even if there too the update is not automatic since it depends on the information provided by the service station managers.

On his site, TotalEnergies has also posted a map listing all its stations around the world. Useful if you live near a border country, motorists from Hauts-de-France have also rushed to Belgian stations in recent days.

By clicking on it, you will know the availability and in some cases, the site also indicates the prices at the pump, the opening hours and offers a GPS service to get there.
