Fuel prices up for the second day in a row

Fuel and gas cylinder prices rose once more on Tuesday, for the second day in a row.

According to the new prices published by the Ministry of Energy, the 20 liters of gasoline at 95 and 98 octane increase slightly, by 2,000 LL, and are sold today at 679,000 LL and 690,000 LL respectively.

The 20-litre can of diesel sold at the pump for vehicles is increased by 17,000 LL and costs 779,000 LL. Domestic gas canisters recorded an increase of LBP 6,000 and sold at LBP 362,000.

The fuel oil used for generators, which have become essential to produce electricity in a country where public electricity is rationed for many hours a day, is for its part priced at 1,255 dollars per ton, down four dollars from the day before. .
