After the sharp drop in fuel prices in September, unleaded followed the same trend with 2 cents less in October. Diesel, on the other hand, increases by 4 cents.

On October 1, motorists will pay a little less for a liter of unleaded at the pump. It will cost 1.53 euros, or 2 cents a month than in September.
On the other hand, diesel, shows him an increase of 4 cents. It will therefore cost 1.35 euros per liter from this Saturday, October 1.
These tariffs benefit from the maintenance of state aid, which is 25 centimes per litre.
The price of the gas cylinder remains fixed, at 15 euros. A current rate until December 31, 2022 thanks to the joint aid of departmental and regional authorities.
The drop in super unleaded continues with -2cts per liter on October 1st. Diesel fuel saw a slight increase of +4 cents per litre.

Elements that determine these prices:
- In September, world fuel prices continued to fall, more markedly for unleaded (-9.25%) than for diesel (-0.93%), due to the drop in demand at global demand. This impacts the final price by respectively – 8 cents and – 1 cent.
- With regard to gas, monthly quotations recorded a slight drop to 630 $/MT for butane and 630 $/MT for propane (i.e. – 4.55% and – 2.99% respectively).
- Import tariff conditions, which are revised each year in October, are developing unfavorably and are weighing on prices.
- The dollar continues to appreciate once morest all international currencies, including the euro, which thus remains very slightly below parity with the dollar, with an impact of 2 cents on the rise in fuel prices.
- The average exchange rate over 15 working days is $0.9996 for €1 for fuel and $0.9989/€ for gas.
- Environmental taxes (EEC) on road fuels increased very slightly (+1.16%), without being noticeable in the final consumer price.
