Fuel prices continued to climb on Monday.
New records have been broken in France with fuels which now exceed the 1.70 euro per liter mark according to data delivered on Monday on the basis of readings taken on Friday.
Diesel was, on average, displayed at 1.7051 euro per liter, or +6 cents increase over one week. A less strong increase than the previous weeks which should not necessarily console consumers.
Unleaded was not to be outdone with a liter set at 1.7618 euros on average, it increased more sharply than diesel: +1.3 euros in one week.
