Fuel even more expensive for this month of July in Guyana, unleaded costs €2.10 per liter

Prices at the pump continue to panic in Guyana despite government aid of 18 cents. While the price of gas is falling, diesel costs 16 cents more per liter for this month of July.

While the fateful bar of two euros has been reached since last month, here is that for this start of the holidays, we are seeing a new surge in fuel prices.

More 16 cents for diesel which thus goes to 2.07 euros while unleaded petrol increases by 0.04 cents and goes to 2.10 per litre.

According to the national press, state aid should be maintained until the end of the year. Despite these 18 cents less per liter, the waves of price increases remain violent to collect for both individuals and professionals.

For information and comparison the prices are as follows:

  • Unleaded premium fuel: €2.01/Li.e. +0.05 €/L compared to June 2022 (1.96 €/L)
  • Road diesel: €1.96/Li.e. +0.16 €/L compared to June 2022 (1.80 €/L) for Martinique
  • Super unleaded 1.99€/L i.e. + 5cts/L compared to June 2022 (€1.94L)
  • Road diesel: 1.97€/L i.e. +16 cts compared to June 2022 (€1.81/L) for Guadeloupe
