Several infant formula manufacturers, including Nestlé, are in the sights of the US Federal Trade Commission (FTC). The competition policeman wants to know if these companies “have concluded agreements or agreements with other players during public calls for tenders”, reports the Wall Street Journal. The newspaper refers to documents published on the agency’s website. These are primarily contracts signed under the WIC formula supply program for women, infants and children.
