The FSB Directorate for Moscow and the Moscow Region has canceled the regime of the counter-terrorist operation.
The FSB Directorate for Moscow and the Moscow Region from 9:00 on June 26 canceled the regime of the counter-terrorist operation (CTO) on the territory of the capital region. It is reported by RIA “news”, referring to the data of the National Anti-Terrorism Committee.
Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin also announced that all restrictions previously imposed to comply with the CTO regime are being lifted in the capital.
“We are removing all restrictions related to the introduction of the counter-terrorist operation regime,” the mayor of Moscow wrote in his telegram channelsthanking the townspeople for their calmness and understanding.
He added that graduation for schoolchildren will take place on July 1.
Also, the CTO regime was removed in the Voronezh region.
Recall that the CTO regime in Moscow and the Moscow region was introduced on June 24. Then Sobyanin urged residents to refrain from traveling around the city as much as possible, and also warned of possible road closures in certain areas.
In the capital, June 26 was declared a non-working day. This decision remains in effect.
