The Community Chest of Korea for Fruits of Love (hereinafter referred to as Fruits of Love) announced on the 13th that it would start supporting forest fire damage in Gangwon-do with a scale of 1.5 billion won.
This support was decided for emergency relief and damage restoration for victims suffering from forest fires in Gangneung.
Chairman Kim Byeong-joon of Fruit of Love said, “I would like to express my deepest condolences to the victims of the Gangneung forest fire. We will do our best to relieve difficulties as soon as possible through emergency relief and rapid restoration.
Meanwhile, on the 11th, Mrs. Kim Kun-hee, who was appointed as the 5th honorary president of Fruit of Love, donated the first donation to help restore forest fire damage in Gangwon-do at a donor meeting held at the Fruit of Love Hall on the same day.
As of the 12th, donations from financial holding companies and companies continued, including 300 million won each from KB·Hana·Woori Finance and KT&G, each donating 1.2 billion won to support victims of forest fires in Gangwon.
First, Fruits of Love will begin emergency relief and support for community damage recovery for the vulnerable and local residents in forest fire-affected areas with emergency support worth KRW 300 million. We are planning to do a fundraiser.
