FromSoftware CEO Hidetaka Miyazaki: Elden Ring’s Graphics Team Tense Up With Demon’s Souls For PS5

Studio manager FromSoftware Hidetaka Miyazaki told in an interview with the editors of the magazine EDGE how influenced Demon’s Souls for PS5 to develop From hand Ring… The game designer noted that the release of the remake put the developers in an awkward position.

Bluepoint’s creation has become one of the most highly acclaimed projects of 2020. In particular, the game received positive reviews for its visuals, which, according to many, set the hard-to-reach bar in the field of image technology for next-generation console projects.

Miyazaki is confident that the graphics team of Elden Ring is “tense” due to Demon’s Souls for PS5. Experts felt the additional pressure the most, and the case concerned not only the new game, but also other projects that FromSoftware is doing.

At the same time, Miyazaki noted that he did not play the remake, because he did not want to “revise his own creations.” The head stressed that this is not due to the fact that he does not like Demon’s Souls for PS5, he just does not want to return to the games that he did in the past.

The release of Elden Ring is expected on February 25, 2022. The game will be available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S and PC. Recently the US agency ESRB issued Elden Ring has an “M” age rating, according to which the game is allowed to be played by persons aged 17 and over.
