Lakhvinder Singh made an incredible journey from the USA to Jalandhar, India in his Toyota Tacoma pickup truck. 53-year-old Lakhwinder Singh’s adventurous road trip is now gaining attention on social media. Lakhwinder covered 22,000 km across 23 countries in 53 days.
Lakhwinder Singh faced challenges on this journey that would have shocked even the most seasoned adventurer. But he has conquered all of them and acquired this achievement. Singh did not take any sponsorships to finance his trip. Instead, he completed the trip with his own money. Singh spent over Rs 1 crore from his own money for the trip.
Although Lakhwinder Singh covered a distance of 22,000 km, his journey was not limited to roads. Since India and USA are separated by oceans, traveling by road alone is not possible. Singh initially sent his car to the UK. From there the journey started by road. He took his car from London to Paris, France.

Singh also drove on Germany’s Autobahn, where drivers are free to drive as fast as they like. During his travels, Singh also faced fines in various countries. The fine was paid four times for speeding. One fine was imposed in Serbia, two in Turkey and one in Pakistan.
He revealed that the idea of going on a road trip came to him when he was stuck at home for over 2 months during the lockdown. Singh said it took him almost three years to plan the entire journey and start the journey. Singh was not alone in his journey. His son was with him. In an interview with YouTube channel Ride and Drive, Lakhwinder Singh opened up regarding his motivation to embark on such an epic adventure.
