(CNN Spanish) — Despite being the son and grandson of well-known actors, the Spanish Daniel Sancho was unknown to the public both in Spain and abroad. Currently, his name is on all the media covers, following this weekend the arrest of him in Thailand was announced as a suspect in the crime that ended the life of Colombian surgeon Edwin Arrieta.
Born in 1994, Sancho is the son of Silvia Bronchalo and Rodolfo Sancho, both actors, although the mother’s career in front of the cameras was brief. His father is one of the most recognized faces on the small screen in Spain, following having starred in some successes such as the series “El Ministerio del Tiempo” or “Isabel”.
His paternal grandfather was the also famous actor Sancho Gracia, who during the 1970s starred in the series “Curro Jiménez”.
However, the young Daniel Sancho, 29, has shown passions different from those of his ancestors by letting himself be seen in front of the stove. As he has shown on social networks, he enjoys giving free rein to his talent in the kitchen, as a chef. On the YouTube channel “Pure enjoyment”, Sancho appears teaching some tricks to prepare different meat and fish dishes.
In addition, as his father pointed out in a recent interview with the Spanish media Vanitatis, he also worked as a chef in a restaurant specializing in hamburgers in the Malasaña neighborhood in Madrid.
According to various media reports, Sancho would also have worked as a chef in a catering service for weddings and private events.
