In second place in the top of March price increases in our region are carpets and rugs, which have become more expensive by 11.1%. In addition, in the group of non-food products, shoes (+2.3%) and medicines (+1.1%) increased in price. But gasoline in March in relation to February became a little, but cheaper – minus 1.7%.
Among services other than tourism, trips by trains and electric trains went up by 5.1%, and going to the pool or gym added 2.8%. Among this group, communication services fell in price – minus 0.3%.
Food prices rose by 1.2% over the month and by 3.1% since the beginning of the year. Among this group, the leader in terms of price changes was vegetables, which added 6.8%. They are followed by fruits with inflation of 4.2%. We started paying 2.4% more for milk in March. But what has fallen in price is cereals and legumes – minus 1%.
