In World of Warcraft the Darkmoon Faire is now active. Anyone who is actively playing Dragonflight and wants to advance their characters should stop by there. You get progress for your profession as a gift and you can pick up a strong reputation and EP buff.
Where can I get the knowledge? It’s Darkmoon Faire since Sunday, December 4th. You can reach the faire by speaking to an emissary in Orgrimmar or Stormwind, teleporting to the entrance, and then entering the portal.
You will then find a quest for each profession on Darkmoon Island. Just walk around the stalls and look out for golden exclamation marks. These indicate profession quests that you can complete once at each Darkmoon Faire, i.e. once a month.
In addition to ours Tips for gaining professional knowledge more quickly the Darkmoon Faire is the best way to quickly and easily level up your professions.
How do I complete the quests? You do not need any special requirements to be able to accept the quests, apart from having learned the professions and brought them up to Dragon Island level. Exactly what you need to do varies from quest to quest.
The vast majority of quests can be done directly on the island without you having to do anything else. Usually it is only a question of collecting objects or producing something from the raw materials provided. In rare cases, you need additional resources, such as parchment for inscription or flour for cooking. For completion you get:
- 2 skill points for the respective profession (3 for secondary professions)
- 3 knowledge points for your profession (none for secondary professions)
- 15 Artisan’s Zeal
- 1 Game Token and 4 Darkmoon Prize Tickets
The skill points and knowledge are credited immediately. We therefore recommend that you are already as far as possible, as getting skill points becomes more and more difficult later in the profession.
The job quests themselves give experience points and are quick to complete, so they’re worth it if you’re still leveling. You get a big chunk of EP and. Crafting itself is also worthwhile for leveling, the fastest players even reached level 70 with professions.
You can find it in our special all information regarding the new extension Dragonflight. In the video, Blizzard shows the most important features once more:
Strong bonuses at every Darkmoon Faire
The Darkmoon Faire is also great for your alts and main characters to level up or gain reputation. If you spend a few moments on the carousel or roller coaster, for example, you’ll get the “Yippie!” buff. This brings you:
- +10% experience points
- +10% gained reputation with all factions
The XP stacks with most other bonuses, getting you to level 70 faster. You can find more in our guide Tips for leveling up fast in Dragonflight.
With the bonus reputation you can rise in fame faster with the various factions on the Dragon Isles. There you will then receive further rewards such as cosmetics or even strong equipment.
Despite initial problems, many players are enthusiastic regarding Dragonflight, even saying they haven’t had as much fun as they do in years. MeinMMO editor Benedict Grothaus took a closer look at how well the expansion was doing in the first week:
