Mexico City.- A famous soap opera actress, who left Televisa 16 years ago and confessed that she was going blind at a young age, has once again captured the attention of the press as it was revealed what she does now that she is completely away from acting. It is Allisson Lozz, who began acting on Canal de Las Estrellas when she was only 10 years old.
The native of Chihuahua made her debut on the San Ángel television station in 2002 when she joined the reality show Código F.A.M.A., then she moved on to the children’s soap operas Alegrijes y Rebujos and Misión SOS as the protagonist, in addition to making an appearance in Rebelde. In 2017, she starred in the youth melodrama Al diablo con los guapos and then did En nombre del amor, her last project since 2008.
At that time, Allisson decided to leave fame and later it was known that she was living in the United States with her husband Eliu Gutiérrez, with whom she had her two daughters London Rose and Sydney. A few years ago, the actress reappeared in the press after using her social media to communicate with her fans. One of the things Lozz shared was that doctors had told her that she was going blind due to health issues.
When Allisson reappeared, Televisa’s audience was in shock as many claim that she looks unrecognizable as it is evident that she has physically changed since her last melodrama. Presumably, the young woman from Chihuahua gained 20 kilos due to suffering from conditions such as hypothyroidism. She also mentioned that her decision to leave TV was because she “was not happy” and even exposed mistreatment in the industry.
As a result of this decision, Lozz sought ways to move forward and began to sell cosmetics and makeup products from a well-known brand. “I do not intend to return to television because I was not very happy and it was demanding. Too much time invested, I prefer to be here and be the owner of my own time,” mentioned the retired actress, referring to her work as a seller for Farmasi.
Allisson, who practices the Jehovah’s Witness faith, has earned significant income as a seller for this brand, leading her to receive awards to travel to different parts of the world, such as Belgium. Currently, the actress is unrecognizable as she left behind her characteristic black-haired ‘look’ from her time working at Televisa and now prefers to wear a long red mane.
