From Sochi, Macky Sall sends a subliminal message to Algeria and the Polisario

#Morocco : It is from Sochi, in Russia, that the President of the African Union, Macky Sall, chose to launch a subliminal message to the Algerian leaders and their Polisario underlings.

Addressing, on June 3, 2022, to his host, Russian President Vladimir Putin, Macky Sall very conscientiously excluded the Polisario puppet state from the countries he came to represent during this visit as current president. of the African Union (AU).

“I salute the role of Russia in the fight for the independence of African countries. This role cannot be forgotten by Africa. This friendship in the name of which I come for the 54 countries of the African Union makes us come with great hope and we wish not only to strengthen bilateral cooperation relations, relations between Russia and Africa, but also talk regarding the crisis and its consequences on our countries,” he said.

This is clearly a way of dismissing the SADR and sending a message to Algiers. Because, by choosing this murderous little phrase, the Senegalese president clearly shows the position of the overwhelming majority of the States of the continent who do not want to hear regarding the Algerian and Polisario claims on the Moroccan southern provinces.

Who other than Algeria considers that the SADR has the attributes of a state? Polisario leaders are only visible during African Union summits or in meetings where they have to jostle to appear in the family photo. For Senegalese diplomacy, whose country is one of the 27 with diplomatic representation in Dakhla or Laâyoune, the question of Western Sahara has been definitively settled for a long time. The inviolability of Moroccan territorial integrity is a matter of principle.

The fact that the president of the African Union goes as far as Russia, one of Algeria’s best friends, to dismiss the SADR is the best proof of this.

It seems that this little phrase has not escaped the media in the pay of Algeria, which accuses the president of the AU of bias in the dispute between Algiers and Rabat over the Sahara.
