From (silent) protest for Gaza to a naked John Cena: the most remarkable moments of the Oscars

An amusing miss at the last and most important prize of the evening: the Oscar for ‘Best Film’. While all other categories are introduced with bells and whistles, presenter Al Pacino apparently wants to end the evening as quickly as possible.

Let’s paint the picture: Pacino enters the stage to loud applause. While everyone waits anxiously, he withholds a climax by skipping the mention of the 10 nominees. After a short (and funny) introduction, he goes straight to reading regarding the winner.

Confusion everywhere, judging by the initial hesitant applause. Pacino himself also seems to be equally confused. “What’s going on?”, you can just hear him say when the applause finally breaks out. Compared to previous years, this blunder is not too bad, but on social media the moment is already being laughed at.
