José Rodriguez has already left Union Saint-Gilloise, following a completely anonymous stint. Arrived last summer, the ex-Madrilenian did not appreciate his experience in Brussels.
Jose Rodriguez (28) will not have had the expected impact at Union Saint-Gilloise. The Spaniard will have played only 13 games this season following arriving free from Maccabi Haifa last summer. Rodriguez, however, has quite a CV since he was trained at Real Madrid, where he played 4 games.
But Rodriguez has already been released…and had nothing positive to say regarding USG in an interview with the Last hour. “It was the worst decision of my career,” he said. “The conditions were amateur, and I warned the Belgian Union. I felt like I was in the 20th division”.
The Spaniard thus regrets the absence of a physiotherapist, frequent delays in training, poor infrastructure or even the lack of hot water. “We didn’t know who would be there in training because there were young people who had school and arrived late…I’ve never experienced that in my career,” said José Rodriguez.
