From October the Villa Italia Medical Center will stop working

The area of Villa Italia and its surroundings will suffer a shock from next October in terms of health. The Quintana Street Medical Center will cease to function as it cannot continue with the lease agreement.

Directors of the institution confirmed the cessation of activities in the place and told this news portal that despite the attempts made, the location contract will not be renewed and the city will be left without a health center that, at this time, covers more than 20 medical specialties and treats about 2,000 patients per month.

They admitted “having done everything in our power” to continue the project and lamented “the consequent loss of jobs, the decrease in medical services, and once again, the postponement of advances and growth in health that are always necessary for a community that demands more and more”

In the next few hours it would become official.
