From now on, intruders in groups will be banned

It’s been raining new things at Whatsapp for a few months, interesting and innovative for the most part; at least once a week, users witness new updates, revealing WhatsApp’s future intentions. Thus, the last interesting novelty on which the messaging giant is looking concerns the management of its groups by eliminating any intruder.

This novelty that Meta is looking into should delight more than one, especially users who use WhatsApp regularly for work, since in the case of WhatsApp groups, they have often always had the reputation of being uncontrollable. or messy.

Good news, this discomfort will soon be eliminated since the service’s parent company has decided to tackle this concern head-on to facilitate the management and use of these groups.

In the same vein, Mark Zuckerberg revealed on Instagram, in addition to a blog note, the formalization of the arrival of two new features aimed at improving the group experience within the messaging application, and allowing in the long term to have a better organization of its application.

Intruder hunting:

In this intruder hunting mission, it will be possible for group administrators through a separate tab to view and manage membership requests. Until now, when a user shared an invite link for their group, anyone with the link might join that group.

But starting today, WhatsApp will give group admins more control within the platform, with new settings that let them decide who can join a group chat. Thus, the latter will have the possibility of accepting or refusing the entry to the conversation of any person.

On the occasion of this new revelation, the platform explains: “We have designed a simple tool that allows administrators to decide who can join a group. When an admitted chooses to share the invitation link of his group or to return his accessible group in a community, he now has more control over who can join”

Another novelty on the web, the functionality concerning the vision of common groups with their contacts. So when searching for a person’s name in the WhatsApp contact list, a shortcut to that user will appear, in addition to a list of all groups in common with that contact.

It is recommended that users of the platform download its latest version and keep the application always updated to never miss the changes made.
