From north to south, the photographs left by the planetary conjunction between Venus and Jupiter in Chile

Venus and Jupiterthe brightest planets in our sky, were the protagonists of a great astronomical event that will not be repeated until 2025.

Both celestial bodies aligned in a perfect planetary conjunctionwhich precedes a gradual rapprochement that has occurred during the last days of February.

Although Venus, the rocky planet filled with a yellowish atmosphere made up of carbon dioxide, and Jupiter, the gas giant that harbors such huge storms on our Earth, are separated by an average distance of 670 million kilometers, thousands of eyes were able to observe this union in the largest meeting point of the event at dusk.

Although the maximum point of union between both celestial bodies occurred during the day, from Earth it can only be seen from the dark. It should be remembered that this is an alignment that occurs every 13 months, but this time it might be seen closer than ever, which will not be repeated until 2025.

In Future 360 We present you some postcards that managed to register the inhabitants of our long and narrow territory.
