From Córdoba, Bullrich publicly presents Melconian as his benchmark on economic issues

The presidential candidate of Together for Change (JxC), Patricia Bullrichpresents today from the province of Córdoba to Carlos Melconian as his benchmark on economic issues, with the idea that, in the event that this opposition coalition becomes President, he will be Minister of Economy.

Melconian was in the United States last week and, upon his return to the country, he met with Bullrich to coordinate today’s announcement.

There, he is presented together with his team from the Mediterranean Foundation, a space that has been working on what would be the economic plan that Together for Change would implement if it prevails in the elections.

In addition to trying to eliminate ministries, cut public spending and carry out a labor reform -some of the axes of JxC- Melconian intends to implement reforms in the retirement system, in the State and in the Organic Charter of the Central Bank.

On the other hand, giving shape to the idea of ​​«bimonetarism» that the space presidential candidate promised to implement in the event of acceding to the Presidency.

Ayer, Bullrich, advanced in the search for cohesion of the opposition front upon receiving the support of the top staff of the UCR and the national deputy Diego Santilli, who in the PASO of August 13 competed as a pre-candidate for Buenos Aires governor representing the space led by the Buenos Aires head of government, Horacio Rodríguez Larreta, and was defeated by the mayor Néstor Grindetti, columned in the now presidential candidate of Together for the Change.

The signs of support came out following some leaders of radicalism questioned their support for Bullrich in the October elections.

“The only chance to generate real change is in Together for Change, with Patricia’s leadership”said the president of the UCR and governor of Jujuy, Gerardo Morales.

Leaving the meeting, which was held at the party’s headquarters in Alsina 1700, Morales indicated that the coalition is “directed with great energy and with very strong work throughout the territory.”

Besides, the candidate received Santilli with the aim of crushing the coalition in the Buenos Aires district, and thanked him for having joined his campaign for the general elections.

“Thank you for your support Colo. We are going to need you in the challenges that lie ahead in the province of Buenos Aires and all of Argentina. We count on your strength! United we are going to defeat Kirchnerist populism forever,” Bullrich said in a text that accompanies a video in which they appear together.

In that recording on Twitter, Santilli assured: “As I congratulated her on August 14, Patricia Bullrich is our candidate for president and I come to put all my team and all my desire to achieve that goal.”

In the open, simultaneous and compulsory primaries (PASO), Santilli competed in the internal JxC aspiring to the Buenos Aires Governoratebut was defeated by a narrow margin of 0.25% by Bullrich’s candidate for that position, the mayor of Lanús, Néstor Grindetti.

Tomorrow, Friday, there will be a meeting of communal chiefs of the opposition coalition in the Buenos Aires party of Pilar, in which Bullrich will also participate, where the discursive strategy of the campaign, territorial deployment and control in each district in the October elections will be discussed .
