From construction to food, who is Orsini, the entrepreneur at the helm of Confindustria

He took his first steps as an entrepreneur in the family business, Sistem Costruzioni, today a leader in the wooden construction and industrial logistics sector. Emanuele Orsini, born in Sassuolo on 29 August 1973, joined Sistem Costruzioni in 1992: his desire for independence and affirmation pushed him to work early, working his way up, precisely to better understand all the company dynamics and every aspect of reality productive: carries out all possible tasks, from warehouse worker to clerk in the purchasing office. Developing that team spirit and collaboration which is its entrepreneurial characteristic and which has marked his long association commitment.

Entrepreneurial activity

In 2014 he became CEO: his father, Carlo, is a decisive figure for Orsini. The different visions of the company’s future led him to resign, only to be called back by his father, who entrusted him with the company. With him at the helm, Sistem Costruzioni becomes a leader in the wood sector, producing tailor-made solutions, and is committed to communities, such as reconstruction in the territories hit by the earthquake, in Abruzzo, Emilia Romagna and Marche. The company also played an important role in the creation of infrastructures for Expo 2015. Today the group, which has a turnover of over 110 million euros, is made up of 15 other companies, with offices in Central America, and has Ferrari Auto as its partner, Lamborghini, Maserati. Among the main subsidiaries is Maranello Village, the first residential complex in the world dedicated to the Prancing Horse. Since 2020, after the death of his father-in-law, Lanfranco Fiandri, he becomes CEO of Tino Prosciutti: in this case too he aims for growth. In 2025, a fifth factory will come into operation which will increase the share of non-EU exports (of the 110 million turnover, 72 million belong to Tino Prosciutti, 40 to Sistem Costruzioni, 17 to Maranello Village).

The long associative experience

His personal experience leads him to be deeply convinced that you start small and become big. An awareness that also characterized his long associative experience. President of Assolegno since 2013, he was elected president of FederlegnoArredo in 2017. Listening, dialogue, territory, are the key words and values ​​that he also translated into practice in the national vice-presidency for Credit, Finance and Taxation, held in the four years of the Bonomi presidency. A commitment that Orsini carried out across the board, in the difficult phase of the pandemic, concentrated on the need to provide liquidity to companies, in that difficult economic circumstance: companies were able to take advantage of 300 billion euros in financing, with 2.8 million euros of operations and 140 billion in moratoriums. Without forgetting a long-term vision of industrial policy, which in any case requires resources to make investments.
