From Beaucerons and Bellechassois to the provincial secondary finals in show

CULTURE. The Secondary en spectacle regional finals took place from April 12 to 14 at Pointe-Lévy high school in Lévis. Different young people from Beauce and Bellechasse have won a multitude of prizes.

Émile Bureau, from the Polyvalente Saint-François in Beauceville, obtained his pass to the Rendez-vous panquébécois, which will stop at Cégep de Thetford on May 20. The duo of Alexandra Dion and Samuel Bissonnette, from Saint-Damien high school, also received this honour. Émile presented a personal composition. Alexandra and Samuel performed the piece If I ever forget of Zaz.

Océanne Lessard-Beaulieu, from the Polyvalente des Abénaquis in Saint-Prosper, will also be going to Thetford Mines. She won over the judges with her rendition of the song I asked the moonfrom the Indochine group, accompanying himself on the piano.

The great outdoor show in Thetford, bringing together the winners from Chaudière-Appalaches and the Capitale-Nationale, will begin at 6:30 p.m. The young people will be accompanied by professional artists. Access is free for the general public.

Other prices

At the level of the other rewards, the number Ugliness performed by Élora Martel-Carrier, Pier-Anne Castonguay and Émilie Gagné, from the Polyvalente de Saint-Georges, won a Capture Prize. The three artists will participate in a professional video recording of their number in an unusual place in the region.

Naïm Cloutier and Hugo Robert, respectively from Saint-Damien secondary school and Polyvalente Bélanger in Saint-Martin, won Experience Prizes. They will be entitled to a training session with a professional artist.

Maxime Roy, from Polyvalente Saint-François, also won an Experience Award. The latter will participate in the Hit The Floor dance event in Lévis, during which he will take part in a master class.
