Dieter Bohlen returns to “Deutschland sucht den Superstar”, like the German “Bild» reported. The contract for the 20th season, which starts next year, is said to have already been signed.
An RTL employee said to “Bild”: “It has been found that DSDS, if at all, only works with Dieter.”
After the termination of the contract in spring 2021, Bohlen himself commented that RTL wanted to go “a new and more family-friendly path” and that he therefore “had no place on the jury as a revolutionary (…) anymore”. After only a short time, RTL now seems to be turning away from this model and is bringing back Bohlen, who is known as a jury member for his tough and sometimes controversial tones.
