Filip Hasa, it is said that it is progressing, the good days are increasing, the neck allows for full training, yet Hasa is kept from playing because he still has certain symptoms such as dizziness and nausea.

Quick recap otherwise for those who haven’t followed along:

Otto Stenberg plays with Bik Karlskoga in the Allsvenskan and does it productively and well, is dual-registered, can move freely between clubs. Noah Dower Nilsson has undergone yet another shoulder operation in Detroit, USA. The season is thus over. He should be in action when next season starts. Gustav Rydahl’s back surgery was successful, the nerve pain in his leg is gone, Rydahl should be able to participate in August when training starts after the holidays. Mats Rosseli Olsen, unfortunately no clarification here. Rather the opposite.

Leksand had question marks too Justin Kloos before the match, wounded by Kalle Östman at Wednesday practice. Kloos plays, but the former Frölundaite does not Patrik Zackrisson.

Leksand otherwise: a well-functioning team, eight victories in a row at the end of the regular season. Leksand is feeling good before the start of the playoffs.

A bit fast:

## It cannot be emphasized enough: it almost starts all over again when the playoffs start, old victories are worth very little, confidence and a sense of belonging may not need to be built from scratch but really replenished. It is not at all just to press a button and lean towards the regular season, those of you who want proof of this – hope you saw Färjestad in match 1 against Rögle.
A new journey begins tonight for both teams. It’s about building good habits, doing the little things right, finding a balance between playing simply (not giving the opponent momentum) and daring (creating, being imaginative in the constructive game).
The quarter-final series is of course not decided in game 1, but that is important with a good start. Undoubtedly.
Both teams have rested from games for the same amount of time. Which looks the most match-matchy?

## Good news from the San Jose Sharks GM Mike Grier: David Edstrom will play with Frölunda next season. However, the young center will transfer to the Sharks main camp, thus misses a few weeks – but the 19-year-old is a Frölunda player even 24/25. Valuable.

## Frölunda and Leksand are two teams that in the regular season reminded each other, not only because they finished well but also the way they achieved success. You have read this text, right?

Two quite similar teams meet in the quarter-finals – get a better idea here

► Three days left until Frölunda’s quarter-final against Leksand. ► Here you get an overview of the opposition, here you can compare with your favorite team. You know what Frölunda is good at – but Leksand? rakapuckar.com enlisted the help of Ronnie Carlsson at Falu-Kuriren. Look here: there are two quite similar teams that meet in the quarter-finals. FRÖLUNDA BEGAN ITS TURN AROUND 28/11, was the SHL’s best regular season team from that date and into the finish, got all its new players together into a unit where everyone submitted, played strong defense – and along the way stepped more and more off the offensive edge forward. Leksand had it […]

## More similarities, both teams have had some trouble special teams. Whoever gets that detail the best has an advantage. Frölunda’s PP lineups below:
Tömmernes – Ruohomaa, Friberg, Strömwall – Innala
Högberg, Thorell, Edstrom, Öberg – Klingberg

## It is probably good if all Frölunda supporters have reasonable expectations of Jayden Halbgewachs. He hasn’t played hockey in two months, of course he may need some time. There is also no guarantee that the Canadian will find chemistry with Jere Innala. Then was then. Now is now. The chances are good, absolutely – but the fact that Halbgewachs is making a comeback at all now is a bonus. Frölunda functioned well without him, has the luxury of letting Halbgewachs calmly and nicely slot into match play. It remains to be seen how many minutes he will get in his comeback. The match picture will determine a part.

## Exciting 1: How many seconds will it take before Nicklas Lasu or Christian Folin puts in a heavy tackle, can Frölunda generally have a good balance between aggressive and overheated?
Exciting 2: Does Mikael Ruohomaa get his expected boost now that the M3 chain is reunited?
Exciting 3: Can the spectators in the old Kålleseum come to life and outvote the traveling Leksand supporters?
Exciting 4: Is it the case that the referees have now lowered the bar a bit, charging for more game-destroying, especially careless club behavior? I promise to applaud then.

Joking aside, Frölunda thus chooses the same path again, just like with Frederik Dichow, a young (22) and developable behind Lasse Johansson. Tobias Normann has been damn good in the Allsvenskan with AIK, made a couple, three sharp SHL efforts with Färjestad, but… well, we’ll see if it goes better this time. Anyway, there will be a Norwegian in Frölunda’s squad next season as well, even though poor Mats Rosseli Olsen’s contract expires.

On Friday evening, Frölunda’s J20 plays its return match against Rögle (round of 16). The match winner on Wednesday, Albin Sundin (extra time), is obviously missing. However, he promised to play in Saturday’s decisive Game 3 if needed.

***

Does Bäcken fix a Division I place? Need two points at home against sawed off Eskilstuna Linden. Gothenburg had really felt good about a team in the first division. Good opportunities for Frölunda and Bäcken to find cooperation.

***

As expected, Dennis Everberg was not reported. There must be some moderation. But… oh, exciting to follow Saturday’s match 2 between Färjestad and Rögle. Expect a home team loaded to the teeth. Expect Marcus Nilsson to get the chance now. But – what about the backs Magnus Nygren and Joel Nyström?
