Today, Frogwares announced the release of the last major paid DLC of Sherlock Holmes Chapter One and also that they will be able to get out Sherlock Holmes : The Devil’s Daughter on the Switch on April 7, 2022.
Despite being embroiled in a horrific war, the mostly Ukrainian team got there thanks to external partners and a handful of remote employees. They now aim to adapt to the situation and do what they can to keep the studio semi-functional and afloat.
“To put it simply, more than ever we need to keep the studio alive and running to the best of our abilities. No team member is expected to work, only those who can and want to do. Some team members have become full-time volunteers in humanitarian efforts across the country. Others joined the defense forces. The rest are in various safer locations overseas or in-country and have made themselves available to work remotely. And we continue to pay all those people on the team. For those who fight or volunteer, each of their places in the team will be waiting for them at the end of the war. But it is mainly thanks to a set of employees who have fled Ukraine to neighboring EU countries and those who have relocated to safer areas that Frogwares can continue to operate at this time. . We are an independent studio, with no outside funding, investors or parent company to keep us afloat. It is therefore up to us alone and thanks to the support of our players who want to play our games that this studio will remain alive. And as this war drags on longer and longer, we and people all around Ukraine are seeing that even if they are not directly involved in the fighting, they somehow have to keep doing get things done. So when it’s all over and it’s time to rebuild and restart, we won’t be starting from scratch.«

Sherlock Holmes : Chapter One M For Mystery DLC
The latest paid DLC for the studio’s latest game is now available on PC, PS5 and X Series X/S. In this 2+ hour mission, a cunning spy outsmarted one of Mycroft’s agents and managed to steal some confidential documents. Sherlock must now face a shadow known as ‘M’ and attempt to unravel the work of a master spy and saboteur.
The M For Mystery DLC is free for all Deluxe Edition and Season Pass owners or can be purchased separately.
